Offered to school and enrichment programs, GATEWAY provides 4th – 10th graders with an immersive “field trip” experience that integrates museum art + technology education.
Using our UN global goals “Challenge” based curriculum, students create prototype solutions by using problem-solving, design and critical thinking skills.

Partnership program collaborating with museums, school districts and enrichment programs using customized challenge-based curriculum.
GENESIS educators work with teams of students to develop their solutions through art, technology and VR education.
Student solutions are displayed in a collaborative museum and student exhibitions showcasing art, music, videos and 3D design.

GENESIS Brotman Mobile Innovation Lab

The Brotman Mobile Innovation Lab spreads STEAM learning across high-need communities in Los Angeles by offering dynamic and interactive “pop-up“ workshops in collaboration with schools, after-school programs like LA’s BEST, and community organizations.

Mentoring Students in STEAM Careers

GENESIS connects students to the variety of STEAM workplaces through individual and group mentoring experiences that have included Google, ArtCenter College of Design, the U. S. Office of Veterans Affairs in Washington D.C., Cedars Sinai Medical Center, UCLA, USC, Childrens Hospital Los Angeles, and HubLA.

From the beginning, GENESIS has recognized the many barriers that exist to engaging girls in the STEAM economy of the future. The program works with teams of young women on special design projects and connects the girls to mentors in STEAM professions and businesses in the community.
