We are excited to announce the reopening of our flagship Innovation Lab at the Marciano Art Foundation for the summer of 2021. We will be offering summer programming, starting the first week of July.

Telling the story of DC through the eyes of students in a virtual reality public showcase titled ‘Rep My City!”,  Hirshhorn X GENESIS is uniting with the DC public schools Arts department.

The culminating exhibition will display art, music, and performing arts from  118 schools, 30,000 students from all 8 wards of Washington DC.

The showcase was inspired by the designs created from a diverse group of high school student from the Hirshhorn Museum’s  “Emerging artists” teen program.
